Southern Mini Series Coming Soon!
My newest collection launches in less than a week, and working on these pieces has been such a blast.
This series features thirteen 4”x4” gouache paintings framed in sleek lucite blocks, all releasing on Wednesday, August 20th at 10 a.m. These pieces are the perfect addition to a bookshelf, nightstand, or coffee table. From winding backroads to mysterious cypress swamps, golden fields and quiet marshes, there’s a little something for everyone who loves Southern landscapes.
The inspiration for this series came from my countless drives around South and North Carolina, soaking in the world around me. I’ve traveled a good bit, but there is no place like home. I love this area of the world and each painting is a little love letter to the South I know and cherish.
Whether you’ve lived here all your life or only visited once, my hope is that these paintings transport you in a way that you can almost smell the salt in the air, hear the cicadas in the distance (dang, they are loud, aren’t they?), and feel the warmth of the sun on your skin (and that unmistakable Southern humidity wrapping around you like a wet blanket).
